Terms of Use

By downloading, installing, or using Thimp, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Thimp.

1. What Thimp is

Thimp is a personal record-keeping tool that lets you manually record assets (cash, gold, crypto) and see a calculated net-worth total. All figures are entered by you and are for your personal reference only. Thimp is not a bank, broker, custodian, exchange, or money transmitter; it is not a financial account or wallet; and it does not connect to your bank or brokerage accounts. Thimp records assets — it does not hold, move, or transmit any capital.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Thimp. Thimp is not directed to and not intended for anyone under 18. By using Thimp you represent that you are 18 or older.

3. Your responsibilities

4. Not financial, investment, tax, or legal advice

Thimp does not provide financial, investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice, and nothing in the app is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any asset. Net-worth totals and charts are arithmetic on figures you entered, for personal reference only. Consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions. You are solely responsible for your own financial decisions.

5. No warranty

Thimp is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any calculation or price (manually entered, or in v2 fetched) is accurate or current. Where some warranties cannot be excluded by law, they are limited to the minimum the law permits.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the provider will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or financial loss, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) Thimp — including any decision you make based on figures shown in the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for Thimp in the prior 12 months or USD 50. Nothing limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

7. Purchases (Thimp Pro & tips)

8. Intellectual property

The Thimp name, fox mascot, logo, design, and code are owned by the provider. These Terms grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Thimp for your own personal use. Your entered data remains yours.

9. Third-party stores

Your use of Thimp through the Apple App Store or Google Play is also subject to that store's terms. Where Apple's standard end-user terms apply, Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms but is not responsible for the app, its content, or support.

10. Termination

You may stop using Thimp at any time and delete your data (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or end the service or these Terms if you breach them or as required by law. Disclaimers, liability limits, and IP provisions survive termination.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be surfaced in-app and/or on the website with an updated effective date. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Indonesia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory local consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring proceedings in your own country.

13. Provider status and contact

At launch, Thimp is operated by an individual developer. A corporate entity may be formed later, at which point the provider and contact details will be updated. Contact: hello@thimp.app.
